Reporting to: Chief Executive Officer

RENSPONSIBILITIES

* Ensure the shop is at a vantage point and meets the Sun King retail standards.

* Ensure the shop has adequate space for stock (200 units of each product)

* Ensure the premise has Electricity and Water

* Ensure the shop lease is drawn & signed between Greenlight Planet and the Landlord

* Ensure the necessary permits are obtained and displayed within the shop

* Ensure the shop has a burglar system installed

* Setup for the necessary equipment at the shop

* Service Workbench tools

* Computers and ISP

* Furniture

*Any other requirement

* Follow up procurement of the above mentioned

* Software installation, configuration and training at every shop

Practise

1. Ensure the shop executives have the necessary technical and technological know-how and are clear on what is expected from them and they meet set targets tock management

2. Replacement process and procedures

3. Repairs and spare management at the bench

Inventory Officer

* Maintain an online tracker for stock for every shop within the country Products

* All product spares

* Ephemera (Marketing Merchandise)

* Spare tools & Equipment

Renovation

* Ensure the Service Centres have a workbench with the necessary repair tools and toolkits

* Ensure safety procedures are observed to avert hazards at the bench.

* Ensure OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) standards are observed

Reports

1. Prepare weekly report on hand stock report

2. Prepare weekly report stock issued out

3. Prepare weekly report on shop sales

Audit Reports

i. Report on quarterly spot checks on branding or when needed

ii. Report on cash spent per shop

Method of Payments

Ensure all the payments related to the shop are raised and are processed in appropriate time to avert any inconvenience.

Qualifications

 Degree/Diploma in Social Sciences or related subjects

 At least 2 years of work experience, preferably in Solar energy Industry, Microfinance or Telecom

 Previous experience as Shop Manager will be an added advantage

 Have great communication skills both in English and Kiswahili

 Should be highly organized, has sense of urgency, and great time keeper

 High computer literacy, especially in Microsoft excel, word and tally systems

 Passionate about working with rural consumers and resolving their issues

 Should be process and result oriented individual, self-motivated and able to work independently.

 Driven by the social mission to provide energy to consumers and employment to rural communities

 Should be a values driven individual
